Museum of American Finance Walking Tour of Alexander Hamilton

Known for employing a personalized methodology for financial planning that takes into account each client’s assets and situation, The Putney Financial Group provides financial planning and wealth management services to roughly 250 families. Believing that financial literacy is important for everyone, The Putney Financial Group has sponsored exhibits at the Museum of American Finance (MoAF).

The only independent museum dedicated to financial history, MoAF provides the public with various exhibits, educational opportunities, and events throughout the year. This includes the organization’s walking tours of the city of New York.

In July 2020, it has a walking tour planned of Alexander Hamilton’s New York. MoAF members get one free walking tour each year, but the tour is also open to the public for $15 per person. Alexander Hamilton’s New York tour lasts for 90 minutes and takes participants through the Financial District in New York City. While walking, the tour emphasizes the role Hamilton played in financial history.

Scheduled for the anniversary of Hamilton’s duel with Aaron Burr, the walking tour will meet in the Ebb and Flow exhibit at MoAF and end at the Charging Bull statue and bowling green. MoAF is co-presenting the event alongside the New York City Municipal Archives.
